Plenty of creators treat TikTok as a way to bring in real cash, not just a spot to post clips. The LIVE Stream Program lets them collect TikTok diamonds during broadcasts. Those diamonds convert into money that you move to a service like PayPal. Here is a plain guide on how to withdraw money from TikTok once you have earned some.
Gathered diamonds during your live streams? You can check the balance and send it toward your bank.
Open the app and go to your profile. Tap the three-line icon at the top right. Pick Settings and Privacy, then choose Balance. If a prompt appears, keep tapping Next until it clears.
The next page shows your coin total. Near the bottom sits a button that reads LIVE Rewards. Tap it to see your diamonds. Two figures show up here: one counts the diamonds you earned today, the other counts your all-time total. For the full breakdown of both in-app currencies, our guide on how TikTok coins turn into diamonds covers it.
To cash out, press Withdraw on this same page. TikTok values each diamond at roughly $0.05 and holds back a small share when it swaps them.
Once you accept the rules, TikTok asks you to sign in to PayPal. Then you enter the sum you want to pull out. The request goes through a review first.
Money can take up to 15 days to reach your PayPal account. Sending it from PayPal to your bank may need a few more days. A faster option exists too, though it costs a little extra.
Keep these payout limits in mind before you start.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Lowest payout to PayPal | $50 |
| Highest payout each day | $1,000 |
Say your balance sits at $5,000. You can clear it over five days by pulling out $1,000 daily until it is gone. If you want to know what those gifts were worth before you cash out, see our breakdown of what a Galaxy gift pays out.
Does your cash keep bouncing back into TikTok? A few things could be behind it.
TikTok pays only verified PayPal accounts. To get verified, link and confirm a bank account, or link and confirm a card. Mismatched details block a payout too. The first name, last name, and email on TikTok have to match what you use on PayPal.
Still stuck? You can message TikTok support inside the app. Tap the three-line icon on your profile, choose Settings and Privacy, then scroll to Report a Problem. Select it, move down, and tap Submit a Report. Explain the issue there and attach screenshots or a screen recording if it helps, then hit Submit. It also helps to know whether the amounts add up, so check our figures on how gifts convert for creators and what live streams can earn.
TikTok keeps rolling out fresh tools for creators and fans. The app has grown past simple video sharing.
Look at the gifting tool. Fans can back the creators they follow, and the cash-out option lets those creators pull steady money from the clips they make. Want more paths to profit? Check our tips on other ways to earn on TikTok.
TikTok values each diamond at roughly $0.05. The platform holds back a small share during conversion, so your final cash-out lands a little lower than the raw diamond total suggests.
The lowest payout to PayPal is $50. Your diamond balance has to reach that dollar value before TikTok lets you send a withdrawal request through the app.
Money can take up to 15 days to reach PayPal after review. Moving it from PayPal to your bank adds a few more days. A faster express option exists for a small fee.
The two common reasons are an unverified PayPal account and mismatched details. Verify PayPal with a bank or card, and match your name and email exactly across both apps.
The daily cap is $1,000. Larger balances clear across several days. A $5,000 balance, for example, takes five days at the maximum $1,000 per day.
