TikTok Shop lets you sell products inside the app through Seller Center, which handles inventory, shipping, payouts, and returns in one place. Getting a store live runs through a few clear stages: create an account, prove who you are, add your addresses, and link a bank account. Here is how to set up TikTok Shop in 2026, from registration to your first listing.
Check that your country is supported before you start. As of June 2026, Seller Center runs in eleven markets: Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam.
If your country is missing from that list, you cannot open a TikTok Shop yet.
Pull these together first so registration moves quickly.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Phone number | Valid and active |
| Email address | Reachable for verification codes |
| Business documents | Legal business name and EIN for companies |
| ID documents | Passport, national ID, or driver’s license |
| Bank account | Business or individual, based on your seller type |
If you also run a content presence next to the store, this walkthrough on optimising TikTok search explains how to make your profile easier to find as sales grow.
Go to seller.tiktok.com and sign in with an existing TikTok account, or register using an email address and phone number. Organization Accounts will not work for TikTok Shop registration.
Your warehouse address is where orders ship from. Enter your country or region, full street address, and a contact name, then add your postcode and phone number.
Next, give a return address for anything customers send back. Tick the box to reuse the warehouse address, or enter a separate location. Accept the terms and click Start Your Business.
Verification happens after registration and before the shop goes live. From the Seller Center home page, click Verify Documents, then Upload Documents. Under Seller Information, pick Corporation or Individually-Owned Business and enter a shop name.
Upload what your seller type needs:
| Seller Type | Required Documents |
|---|---|
| Individual | Front and back of a passport, national ID, or driver’s license |
| Corporation | Government ID of the legal representative, director, or person with significant control, plus a business license or registration document |
Click Submit. Your application sits in pending status during review. If it fails, TikTok emails you with steps to resubmit. Approval moves you to the last stage.
Payments will not reach you until a bank account is linked. Back on the Seller Center home page, click Link Bank Account, then Link Account. Enter your account name, bank name, account number, email, street address, and building number.
For individual sellers, the account name has to match your registered name. For corporations, it has to match the company name. Click Submit. Once the account clears, your setup is done and you can start listing products. With the shop active, attention shifts to listings, pricing, and pulling buyers in. Content and commerce share the same app, so your videos double as product discovery. It also helps to know the wider payout picture before you scale. Read up on what TikTok pays creators and the broader ways to earn money on TikTok beyond shop sales. Setting up TikTok Shop usually takes an hour or two once your documents are ready.
Individual sellers register with a passport, national ID, or driver’s license. Registering as a corporation requires a business license or registration document plus a government-issued ID of the legal representative.
Review time varies. Your application stays in pending status until TikTok checks it. If it fails, you get an email with resubmission steps. Approval then unlocks bank linking and listing.
No. Organization Accounts cannot register a TikTok Shop. Sign in with a standard TikTok account, or create one with an email address and phone number during Seller Center registration.
Payments only arrive after you link a bank account in Seller Center. The account name must match your registered name for individuals or the company name for corporations.
As of June 2026, Seller Center works in Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam.
